Rita's my name, and with a bright passion for all things creative, I'm a multimedia graphic designer based in Wellington with a multi-toolkit of visual skills ranging from print publishing, branding, digital media and web design, to video-editing, illustration, animation, digital content creation and photography. In my spare time I enjoy playing videogames and travelling the world... when I'm not busy discovering new foods!

Environmental Hand Soap Dispensers Product branding, packaging, concepts. Brief: Eye-catching label designs for an evironmentally friendly hand soap formulated without palm oil, helping to prevent deforestation and habitat destruction of endangered animals.	EcoWise Product Catalogue Print publication, product catalogue. Brief: Complete product catalogue of a newly launched range, highlighting the features and benefits of each product, divided into convenient categories of application.	Professor the Red Panda Stickers Promo media, digital printing, stickers. Brief: Simple badge stickers of the mascot character for use with gifts and promotional material.
FundUs Fundraiser Ad Advertising, editorial, print publication, magazine. Brief: A5 ad for a magazine insert, showcasing the simplicityof the fundraising organisation.	Veterinary Cleaner Pullup Banner Digital print media, promo material, pullup banner, concept. Brief: Pullup banner to advertise the one-stop cleaner, specifically targeting veterinary clinics, for an informative tradeshow.	Girl Illustration Artwork, illustration, vector, comics, character art. Brief: Stylised character illustration for web media; portrait / profile art.
Naturemade Environmental Brochure Print publication, mini-brochure, flyer. Brief: A5 mini-brochure for an eco-range of products, conveying the environmental statement and sustainability promises the products encompass.	Super Solar Charger Character art, game design, animation, concept. Brief: Main character design for a conceptual videogame, Super Solar Charger - themed around the power of the sun, aimed at young kids to teach them about renewable / sustainable energy. Character charges energy into his core and fires solarbeams from his hands, fighting "pollution monsters".	Southern Hospitality Promo Ad Print publication, advertising, competition, promo material, flyer. Brief: Advertising promo flyer about a competition to win a $1000 travel voucher by purchasing a specific product, increasing sales.
SPS Moss & Mould Treatment PI Digital and print publication, informative flyer, product information sheet. Brief: A clean, one-page product information sheet styled in the customer's brand.	Media Hub App Mockups Smartphone app, website design, UI design, concepts. Brief: Hybrid website-app concept for an all-encompassing, secure media and resources portal for customers to be able to keep up to date with product launches, news and updates, and useful tools and resources. Includes a reporting function for higher account levels.	Matariki Poster Digital and print publication; A3 papercraft-style poster Brief: Eyecatching poster representing the story of Matariki, the constellation of the Seven Sisters, in celebration of the Maori New Year.
Informative Tailgating Warning Poster Print publication; signage; warning poster Brief: A funny, minimalist and informative warning poster reminding visitors to go through the gates one at a time to avoid tailgating.	Community Work Social Media Graphic Social media graphic; digital content Brief: A simple, eyecatching and informative social media graphic for Facebook, that helps convey the amount of meals provided by community work to local schools in NZ and to Women's Refuge shelters.	Central Region Sites Diagram Digital and print publication; one-pager infographic; chart; diagram Brief: One page diagram conveying multiple complex layers of information about prison sites in the Central Region. Designed for both digital and print publishing, to go alongside other media.
WMHAS Foundation Document Print publication; formal document; landscape brochure; perfect binding Brief: A professional, printed publication introducing the WHMAS and its goals, achievements and future aspirations. The branding and river motifs have been developed closely with iwi and represent the 4 major stakeholders coming together to contribute to the service.	Wellington Pride Parade Poster Digital and print publication; diversity; A3 pride poster Brief: A visually eye-catching and colourful poster encouraging readers to support the pride events in Wellington.	Alcohol & Drug Strategy Print publication; formal document; portrait brochure; saddlestitch binding Brief: A formal and professional-looking Government strategy publication for both internal and external stakeholders to read, branded with the official organisation pattern.
Focus Room Glazing Signage; interior design; custom artwork; building glazing; translucent vinyl; glass work Brief: Custom glazing work for Corrections National Office at Mayfair House, The Terrace. Designed for the Earth floors (Levels 1-5), taking inspiration from New Zealand's own natural mountain landscapes and lakes. Created with both privacy and safety in mind.	Meeting Rooms Glazing Signage; interior design; custom artwork; building glazing; translucent vinyl; glass work Brief: Custom glazing work for Corrections National Office at Mayfair House, The Terrace. Designed for the Land floors (Levels 6-10), taking inspiration from New Zealand's most iconic native flora. Created with both privacy and safety in mind.	Staircase Glazing Signage; interior design; custom artwork; building glazing; translucent vinyl; glass work Brief: Custom glazing work for Corrections National Office at Mayfair House, The Terrace. Designed with minimalism and safety in mind, the design features the organisation's main branding pattern as a subtle but effective accent to direct users of the staircase.
Kitchen Hub Bin Signage Signage; inclusive; vinyl stickers; bin signage Brief: Highly identifiable waste / recycling bin stickers with both English and Māori labels. Minimalist design, colour-coded for easy recognition across all kitchen areas.	Parent / Special Room Signage Signage; accessibility; corporate interior design; acrylic lasercut Brief: Custom signage work for Corrections National Office at Mayfair House, The Terrace. Designed with accessibility in mind, the room signs use strong iconography with a highly legible, raised sans-serif font on a matte off-white acrylic base for easier reading, especially for the neurodiverse. Signs read both in English and Māori.	Tech Hub Signage Signage; corporate interior design; acrylic lasercut Brief: Custom signage work for Corrections National Office at Mayfair House, The Terrace. Designed for the IT in-house service desk, large, eye-catching raised sans-serif font on a matte black acrylic helps guide staff visually to the counter.

It's always exciting to mix things up creatively, and I love trying my hand at new and different projects in various styles and themes. Always a learner, I never shy away from teaching myself new skills and tricks.
